Heart

Here the heart is the emotional centerpiece of Lunaria. It serves to explore the complex themes of sacrifice, perseverance, grief and existentialism, properties of the human condition. It is a space created to hold the depths of emotion within us, meet the shadows of our pasts and nurture our dreams for the future. Just like a real organ, the heart represents that of a living being and this section will be similarly characterized by metaphor, rhythm and movement. Between the topics of poetry, lyrical essays and photography, I hope you, my dear reader, will be able to resonate with some of my pieces. As always, the meaning behind art is up for interpretation so take from it what you will and I hope it brings some comfort.
